Daisy has almost 15 years PR experience specialising exclusively in luxury travel, spa and hospitality brands. She has represented some of the most prestigious brands in the industry, most notably as the global agency lead for Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, but also with Jumeriah, Raffles, Aman and GHM properties plus independent luxury resort brands and boutique collections. In 2010, Daisy left the restrictions of corporate agency life to bring her wealth of experience, connections and creativity to a carefully curated collection of like-minded brands and introduce a more personalised, high-impact approach to the typical agency ethos. One of the best travelled and respected PRs in the industry with an enviable not-so-little black book of contacts, her consultancy service promises far more than PR results; BIRD clients are fast-tracked to the biggest consumer influencers and benefit from a wealth of knowledge that spans how to deliver the best customer journey to how to host award-deserving travel experiences.
Nina began her career in online marketing for consumer and travel brands including Chanel, FIAT, Turismo Madrid and Visit Scotland before making the move into travel PR in 2010. She has since spearheaded effective integrated PR campaigns for tourist boards, hotels, airlines, travel publishers and tour operators. A fluent Spanish speaker with a soft spot for Spain and Latin America, Nina is a creative mind with a beady eye for a story who understands client marketing needs far beyond traditional PR, combining strategic thinking and digital flair with a sharp attention to detail and a thorough understanding of the travel industry.
Lallie has worked on both sides of the coin over the past decade, firstly at a national newspaper sussing out stories and then in the heart of agency life creating high-impact exposure for her clients. At her former agency, Lallie has worked on a wide range of luxury travel clients from corporate hospitality brands such as the Minor Hotel Group (Anantara, PER AQUUM, Avani and Tivoli Hotels) to independent boutique hotels, tour operators like ITC Classics and US luxury travel giant, Virtuoso. She has since taken a working sabbatical to live in Bali applying her skills and creativity to working with progressive start-ups and wellbeing brands. She is well known within the industry for her honest, no-nonsense and creative approach with both clients and journalists, creating a seamless interaction between the two and delivering serious results that go beyond just press coverage. Speaking both French and Spanish, Lallie’s interesting background (Colombian/Irish/Dutch with a sprinkling of Lithuanian and Scottish) and diverse network brings a creative and international edge to the team.

Alexa joined BIRD in 2015 as a 2:1 graduate from Exeter University where she studied Classical Studies and was a regular contributor to the Exeter University Newspaper. Her fascination with ancient cultures, architecture and history has led her on eye-opening trips across the world including a month-long trip to India with the British Council, inter-railing through Europe and working in a Moroccan orphanage. Alexa has transferred this flair for adventure to working with our experiential travel clients, using her inquisitive nature and meticulous research skills to unearth imaginative stories that have resulted in several successful campaigns. She works across both the company’s and clients’ social media channels and has established an eye for digital opportunities working on high-profile influencers’ trips to client destinations.
Francesca recently joined us as a Geography graduate from Exeter University where her interest in humanitarianism saw her heavily involved in the University’s volunteering scheme; working with the homeless and refugees in Exeter, promoting environmental sustainability, raising awareness of Fairtrade values and doing a work placement in South Africa where she taught English in a remote township. She caught the travel bug at a young age spending extended periods of time in Asia with her family before setting off across the globe on a series of adventures through Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. With work experience in both journalism and PR, Francesca has quickly become an invaluable member of the BIRD team with her imaginative story suggestions, snappy writing skills, methodical reporting and an unflappable tech-savvy approach to digital media engagement.
