A second home to Perfect Moment’s Creative Directors, Jane and Max Gottschalk, during the winter ski seasons, Gstaad has always held significance to the brand. “It felt like a natural step to develop a sweater bearing the ‘Gstaad’ name, and Le Grand Bellevue is the perfect partner – we’re really excited to be working together,” says Jane Gottschalk, the Creative Director of Perfect Moment. With a retro style and penchant for bright, bold colours, the sweaters fit right in with the style at Le Grand Bellevue.
Located in the heart of Gstaad village amidst the snow-capped Swiss Alps, Le Grand Bellevue is the region’s chicest five-star hotel. Originally built in 1912 as a Cure House and Spa, a year-long renovation saw this historic building injected with a fresh sense of vitality, redefining casual elegance in this famously traditional resort.
Design is engrained into the new owners, managers and designers of the hotel, couple Daniel and Davia Koetser, with global careers in hotel development and interior design respectively. The exquisite style and eclectic design of the 57-room hotel reflects both of their talents and interests, and bold colours, eye-catching prints and elegant furniture fill the rooms. The fun doesn’t stop there, with the hotel debuting its new Ski & Soul package this winter. The three-night experience combines active outdoor mountain pursuits with mental wellbeing, including outdoor meditation sessions, specialized ski classes including ski techniques to improve posture and the practice of mindful skiing, a walk and talk service and Alpine-inspired spa treatments.
