Drawing on a shared love of craftsmanship, colour and storytelling, the collaboration will transform Pulitzer’s garden into a vibrant, sensory world inspired by tulip season and the spirit of Amsterdam.

Launching 16 April, Pulitzer Amsterdam and renowned lifestyle brand Anna + Nina announce a creative partnership that brings a fresh, expressive look to the historic Pulitzer Garden, tucked away on the Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht within the UNESCO World Heritage-listed canal belt. Throughout the spring and summer season, the garden becomes a space that evolves with the day: from morning coffee to afternoon aperitivo and al fresco dining.
Set against the architectural backdrop of 25 masterfully restored canal houses, Pulitzer Amsterdam continues its commitment to local artistry through this new partnership. The collaboration harmonises Pulitzer’s historic soul with Anna + Nina’s contemporary use of colour, marking the season with a celebration of Dutch design in one of the city’s most iconic hidden gardens.

Known for their joyful and tactile approach, founders Anna de Lanoy Meijer and Nina Poot have curated a selection of their signature collection to style the outdoor space. Guests will find the garden’s tables accented with hand-painted ceramics, mouth-blown glassware, and expressive textiles, creating an informal atmosphere that encourages guests to slow down and enjoy the serene surroundings.

Following in the footsteps of previous creative partnerships – including a pink tulle-covered Christmas tree by Roksanda and a bespoke floral tableware collection by Zoë de Givenchy – this latest partnership reflects Pulitzer Amsterdam’s ongoing mission to champion contemporary talent and weaves these collaborations into the hotel’s history.
“I don’t see Pulitzer being defined by a single period — it’s a collection of canal houses that has evolved over centuries, from the 17th century through to the homes into the 1960s. That sense of multiple layered eras coexisting is really at the core of the hotel with any collaboration becoming another within that composition” says Jacu Strauss, Creative Director of Pulitzer Amsterdam. “What drew us to Anna + Nina is their intuitive way of combining elements; there’s a freedom in their use of colour that remains deeply considered, offering a playful register that still aligns with the hotel. This collaboration subtly shifts certain hotel areas, particularly the Garden, creating a fleeting moment that feels instinctively aligned with the arrival of spring.”
In addition to the garden takeover, the brands have co-created two exclusive collectible ceramics: a florally adorned teapot and matching teacup. These pieces, designed in collaboration with Jacu Strauss, embody the spirit of the installation.

The Anna + Nina garden takeover will be open to guests from 16 April through September 2026. A dedicated display will showcase the collection within the hotel, and the exclusive ceramics, along with a curated selection of Anna + Nina homeware, will be available for purchase at the hotel on-site or at its micro-wellness area The Beauty House. Meanwhile, all exclusively Anna + Nina products are available to be shipped worldwide
