A neighbourhood in its own right, inside you will discover a grand entrance and lobby, an unexpectedly expansive central garden for al fresco drinks and dining, a modern Dutch restaurant with canal-side terrace, an Art-Deco bar celebrating age-old glamour and a host of meeting and celebration spaces of all sizes. Daily history tours will transport you through the ages, with eclectic tales of the prosperous trade merchants and flamboyant Dutch aristocracy who would once have paced the corridors.

Centrally located in the city’s buzzy Nine Streets neighbourhood, many of Amsterdam’s most notable finds are on the hotel’s doorstep. From the Rijksmuseum to Stedelijk Museum, the Van Gogh Museum and the Anne Frank House to name a few.

Seasonal menu highlights include eringi mushrooms paired with rich truffle, reypenaer cheese and egg yolk or venison accompanied by potato mousseline, caramelized onions and crisp croutons. At Pulitzer’s Bar, sip on classic cocktails like the Peperbael Paloma or the Rose Garden Margarita, each inspired by the illustrious past of the canal houses which surround.
