Daisy has nearly 20 years PR experience specialising exclusively in luxury travel, spa and hospitality brands. She has represented some of the most prestigious brands in the industry, most notably as the global agency lead for Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, but also with Jumeirah, Raffles, Aman and GHM properties plus independent luxury hotel brands and boutique collections. In 2010, Daisy left the restrictions of corporate agency life to bring her wealth of experience, connections and creativity to a carefully curated collection of like-minded brands and introduce a more personalised, high-impact approach to the typical agency ethos. Nina began her career in digital marketing for consumer and travel brands including Chanel, Audi, Turismo Madrid and Visit Scotland before making the move into travel PR in 2010. She has since spearheaded effective integrated PR campaigns for hotels, tour operators, tourist boards, airlines and travel publishers – from media launches and brand refreshes, to events and content creation campaigns – arming her with a real 360 degree understanding of the travel industry and a wealth of cross-sector contacts. Nina has a creative mind, a beady eye for a story and understands client needs far beyond traditional PR. She excels at combining strategic thinking and digital flair with sharp attention to detail and a practical approach to marrying PR activity with wider marketing plans and sales targets. A fluent Spanish speaker with extensive experience living and working in Spain and Latin America, Nina is responsible for top level media work, strategic development and delivery, team management, and consultancy across BIRD’s portfolio of clients.
Holly’s experience spans both agency and in-house. As the former Director of Public Relations for Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, she coordinated global PR delivery for the London brand, launching Bar Boulud and Dinner by Heston Blumenthal. Her in-house experience brings a unique perspective to objective-driven campaigns, strategic thinking and developing creative story-worthy guest experiences. On the agency side, Holly has worked across numerous UK and international brands, firstly at PRCo with Daisy where she worked with Abercrombie & Kent, Raffles Hotels and Resorts and The Stafford Hotel, but most recently at Bacchus PR, where she was Head of Travel, looking after hotel brands such as Marriott International, Bulgari, The Set Hotels and 1Hotels plus launching independent hotel brands, Artist Residence and The Laslett.
Freya first joined BIRD in 2013 as a graduate in International Development and fresh from a competitive placement at the BBC. Two years at BIRD gave her a solid foundation in communications before her appetite for adventure and passion for hospitality led her onto Dubai to join Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts as Communications Manager overseeing their hotels in the region. Freya re-joined BIRD in 2018 bringing her international and in-house experience back to the agency’s clients. With boundless energy and creativity, Freya takes a dynamic approach to reputation management with a particular skill for high-impact brand partnerships, celebrity engagement and helping clients develop creative guest experiences for compelling PR. With a genuine passion for humanitarian and environmental causes, she is well suited to working with BIRD’s sustainably-minded clients.
Francesca joined BIRD in 2016 as a Geography graduate from the University of Exeter, and has become an invaluable member of the team with her unflappable approach to creative communications, social media management and methodical reporting across accounts. In her time with the agency, she has helped to coordinate a number of high-profile press trips from both UK and international markets, hosted leading journalists at several new hotels and shaped the BIRD brand across social media platforms. She caught the travel bug at a young age through extended periods of family travel through Asia, and has continued her globetrotting habits ever since, balancing her love of urban culture with a passion for wildlife and conservation.
Sasha has eight years in-house marketing experience for luxury hospitality brands, firstly with Red Carnation Hotels and subsequently as Digital Marketing Manager for Rocco Forte. Her experience spans website and blog development, user experience, social media strategy and training, content creation, online advertising, project management and amplification of strategic online marketing campaigns. She is an avid traveller and hotel junkie, from a family of restauranteurs, so has an lifelong passion for hospitality and an innate understanding of the industry.
