Vestige Collection Opens Second Private Mallorcan Estate, Son Veri, in the Tramuntana Mountains

Opening this June, Son Veri is a restored 19th-century estate set within 100 hectares of private Tramuntana landscape, offering exclusive-use stays just a short drive from Palma

Vestige Collection, the Spanish family-owned luxury hospitality group, announces the latest addition to its portfolio, Vestige Son Veri, welcoming guests from 1st June 2026. Positioned high in Mallorca’s Serra de Tramuntana, which was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site 15 years ago, the exclusive-use six-bedroom property offers complete seclusion within a restored 19th-century farmstead just a twenty-minute drive from Palma.

Overlooking a valley that stretches towards the Bay of Palma, Son Veri is rooted in a setting shaped by centuries of cultivation. The 19th-century stone house lies within a 100-hectare estate once farmed for cereals, olives and almonds, with records of its use dating back to the Middle Ages. Today, restored terraces, olive groves and shaded walkways tie the house closely to its surrounding landscape, whilst the former Carthusian monastery of Valldemossa sits just below the property. In contrast to Vestige’s noble waterfront property Miramar, adjoining Palma Cathedral, Son Veri is a secluded, rural experience – framed by limestone peaks, fragrant gardens and woodland. Together, the two properties can be twinned to create a seamless city and country stay, pairing Palma’s cultural vibrancy with the quiet, creative character of the Serra de Tramuntana.

The restoration has been led by Vestige Estudio, the brand’s in-house architecture and design studio, with a focus on preserving the building’s original features and purpose. Key elements such as the tafona (olive press), vaulted marés-stone ceilings, central courtyard and entrance hall have been retained and carefully repaired. In collaboration with local stonemasons, carpenters and artisans, Vestige has woven the building’s historic fabric seamlessly into its contemporary additions through natural materials and bespoke craftsmanship, ensuring a perfect balance between heritage and modern living.

Inside, Son Veri features six en-suite bedrooms, including two principal suites, alongside generous shared spaces. With a large dining room, spacious light-filled lounges, a cinema, gym, wine cellar and a professional kitchen, Son Veri is perfect for families, groups of friends and hosted events.

Stepping outdoors, the architecture extends into the grounds through terraces, gardens and open courtyards. A pool with sweeping views, a tennis court and a simple outdoor kitchen for al fresco barbecues are encircled by planted areas and stone paths. Restored water channels run gently through the property whilst planting reflects the local palette – citrus, olives, rosemary and native grasses – allowing the gardens to flow naturally into the wider estate.

Sustainability has informed every stage of the project; rainwater is harvested for irrigation, original stone has been reused to form new walls and garden structures, and lime mortar has been employed throughout for its breathability and compatibility with historic masonry. The intention, as with all Vestige projects, has been to create a place that will age well, with minimal intervention and long-term respect for the land, aligning with Vestige’s brand vision: to leave behind a legacy of cultural and environmental richness for future generations to enjoy.

From Son Veri, guests can wander the verdant mountains, following historic routes that wind through woodland and terraced farmland. The villages of Valldemossa, Deià and Sóller are nearby, while Mallorca’s calas and beaches are just a short drive along the coast.

Available for bookings from Easter 2026, ahead of its June opening, Vestige Son Veri invites a rare opportunity to experience Mallorca’s Serra de Tramuntana in complete privacy, on an estate where architecture, landscape and history strike a calming balance.Top of Form
