The Saint-Tropez hill-top hotel introduces redesigned rooms, alongside new culinary and wellness experiences celebrating the French Riviera
Surrounded by century-old pine trees and rose gardens, Villa Marie by Maisons et Hôtels Sibuet will reopen for the summer season on 12th May in Saint-Tropez, unveiling refurbished guest rooms alongside new three-night experiences inspired by the relaxed elegance of the region. With Saint-Tropez recently announced as the next filming location of HBO’s The White Lotus, guests canexperience the glamour of the destination from Villa Marie’s peaceful retreat overlooking Pampelonne Bay – a quiet respite just a five-minute drive from the town’s renowned beach clubs, old port and historic harbour.
The refreshed rooms embody Villa Marie’s romantic Provençal spirit, with colourful fabrics from Pierre Frey and Élitis, and decorative ceramic lighting. Interiors reflect the property’s signature bohemian style, complemented by antique furniture hand-sourced from local markets by the Sibuet family. Rooms are designed around a bathroom-boudoir concept, featuring Cassis stone washbasins, bespoke headboards, and elegant wrought-iron canopy beds, marrying comfort with character.
Set across a seven-acre oasis, Villa Marie invites guests to wander among citrus-fragranced gardens, dotted with Palladian columns, ponds, stone paths and terraces. A shimmering outdoor pool lined with sun loungers and parasols offers the perfect spot to soak up the Provençal sunshine, while hidden corners and shaded patios encourage moments of reflection.
The Dolce Vita restaurant boasts far-reaching views across Pampelonne Bay and serves Mediterranean cuisine highlighting fresh, seasonal ingredients with delicate Italian influences, a nod to its nearby neighbours. The menu blends estate-grown produce with local fish and shellfish with signature dishes including rouget barbet with courgette flowers, bourride de la mer with a light aioli and vitello tonnato. Guests can opt to dine beneath its sun-drenched glass-roofed pavilion or enjoy intimate meals on garden terraces.
New summer experiences capture the spirit of Saint-Tropez while offering moments of restoration. The Taste of Saint-Tropez experience celebrates the Riviera’s culinary and maritime heritage. Guests begin with a private tasting of wines from the Sibuet family’s own 26-hectare Domaine de Marie estate, followed by dinner beneath umbrella pines, savouring the chef’s favourite dishes paired with Provençal vintages. The following day, guests set out to sea with a private skipper, cruising calm seas with a picnic hamper and a bottle of Domaine de Marie rosé, before a leisurely return to the serenity of Villa Marie.
The three-night Pine & Pure Altitude Wellness Retreat draws on Villa Marie’s forest setting to offer moments of total restoration. Guests are welcomed each morning with a Pure Altitude herbal infusion, followed by daily sunrise yoga, outdoor sessions and sumptuous treatments at the Pure Altitude Spa, a discreet pavilion adorned with seashells and turquoise hues. Founded in 2009 by Jocelyne Sibuet, Pure Altitude is a natural skincare brand harnessing rare active ingredients extracted from mountain plants to create reparative body wraps and targeted therapies. Electric bikes are on hand for guests to explore the charming village of Ramatuelle, using a dedicated app with routes tailored to different levels.
Part of the family-run hospitality brand Maisons et Hôtels Sibuet, Villa Marie is one of a collection of characterful properties, each designed to reflect the spirit of their surroundings through thoughtful design, regional gastronomy and a deeply personal approach to hospitality. Spanning Provence, the French Riviera, the Alps and the Caribbean, the Sibuet portfolio continues to evolve. 2026 marks fifteen years since the second generation, daughter Marie and son Nicolas Sibuet, stepped up to guide the brand into its next chapter, while remaining rooted in the distinctive Sibuet art de vivre, established by founders Jocelyne and Jean-Louis Sibuet in 1981.
