Three Mile Beach launches two-bedroom luxury beach shacks designed for smaller families, groups and couples to enjoy intimate seaside stays for summer 2024
New for summer 2024, Three Mile Beach – a beloved collection of self-catering luxury beach houses located moments away from the sea on St Ives Bay, Cornwall – unveils the launch of a collection of two-bedroom beach shacks. The new properties join the lauded line up of bigger three- and four-bedroom beach houses which have proved immensely popular with both families and groups of friends since 2021.
Designed with couples, young families and smaller groups in mind, the four beach shacks have been paired back to one double bedroom and one single bedroom, allowing for up to four guests and additional four-legged friends to stay comfortably. As shrunken versions of the original beach houses, the beach shacks boast the same amenities, including fully-equipped kitchens, cosy living areas and roaring log burners. Each beach shack is also complete with a spacious terrace home to an outdoor barbecue and seating area, sunken cedarwood hot tub and barrel sauna for intimate al-fresco suppers and early evening pamper sessions.
Those eager for a taste of the local delicacies can make use of Three Mile Beach’s extensive dining facilities; from indulging in a romantic date night dinner prepared by a local private chef, to basking in sunset visits to outdoor restaurant Chomp to enjoy seasonal and fresh delights, to ordering DIY pizza kits to the beach shack’s door.
With the fruits of nature’s labour steps away from the doorstep, you are free to roam the golden sands of Gwithian Beach, try a hand at daring water activities, from group surf lessons to coasteering and paddleboarding, or for the wellness-minded, enjoy practicing the Wim Hof method with a half day workshop teaching the key elements of breathwork and cold-water immersion. Likewise, family-friendly activities include cooking classes and foraging walks, well as a curation of arts and crafts, from pottery with Sculpd, jewellery making with Cast or in-beach shack art classes with locally-based Zoe Eaton.
After days spent exploring Cornwall’s boundless natural landscape, you can return to the colourful wooden-clad beach shacks and relax on locally crafted furniture, taking in the eclectic artworks and textiles sourced from the owner’s travels around the globe. From paintings to souvenirs, the unique trinkets coupled with the intimate setting of the beach shacks might inspire you to recount vivid tales from your own travels, and incite exciting future excursion plans to Cornwall and beyond.
